Long time since I have made an entry - and I seemed to have gone on a spending spree in the off time
I picked up a new tv, Xbox 360, DVD Player, bunch of cables for everything and put Xbox Media Center on my old Xbox as well as Windows Media Center on my Desktop.

The TV is a 50″ Samsung 1080p DLP, and I must say with the High Definition pack on my Xbox 360 and 5.1 surround - it is amazing!
I ordered all my cables from monoprice, cost me $4.00 and change for a 6 foot optical cable with very nice quality gold plated connectors - definitely will be doing business with them again.
I’ve picked up EA Sports NFL and NHL so far, these 2 games are pretty much the entire reason I bought the thing in the first place.
I’ve had Windows Media Center installed for about 4 hours now and so far I’m really not that impressed - I’m not sure what I was really expecting but I guess I will have to play around with it some more before I decide its not for me - or wait until I can get Vista Ultimate edition
I would like to keep using it as I really don’t like Tivo and I think paying $13/month for TV listings is retarded.
On the other hand, XBMC is AMAZING! I wish I hadn’t waited so long to get it (my Xbox drive was broken so I had to order a new one off Ebay), pretty much any codec I’ve needed is already on there and I can keep all of my music, emulators, games, and movies/tv shows on a network drive.
